................................................ Welcome to Okuri Retrievers and Cocker Spaniels We are a small family based breeder where all our dogs are much loved members of our family. We are registered breeders with Dogs QLD, part of the only recognised register of Pedigree dogs with the Australian National Kennel Council in Australia. We are also registered with the Gold Coast City Council. Dogs QLD/BIN number-4100056902, Gold Coast Council breeder permit number-CC PBB7567538. We breed Golden Retrievers and Cocker Spaniels, all of our puppies are sold with Pedigree papers with Dogs QLD. All our breeding dogs have been hip/elbow scored and have been DNA health screened with Orivet. We currently have 1 Golden Retriever and 2 Cocker Spaniels at stud. All have relivant health clearances and are proven sires and are available to pedigreed bitches with relivant health clearances. We are very proud to have had some of our puppies accepted into the Guide Dog Program and many also have gone onto become assistance dogs for children with Autisim. Due to time constraints we do not get to many shows but are enjoying having only 2 much loved pets living with us. All of our breeding dogs are living with loving families on someones couch or on the end of a childs bed. Our main goal is to be producing physically sound, even temperamented family dogs that will go on to be much loved, life long members of a special family. Not having any dogs kenneled and all of our breeding dogs living as treasured family members has contributed to making this goal a reality. |
